Nocturne Labs has raised $6 million in seed funding to develop an Ethereum ecosystem that offers private accounts to users. The funding round was led by Bain Capital Crypto and Polychain Capital, with participation from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, among others. Nocturne is working on a protocol that will enable users to transact anonymously within Ethereum. Nocturne plans to launch the protocol on the Ethereum mainnet next month. There are currently fewer than 10 people working at Nocturne, but the company plans to recruit more staff once the platform launches.
