Grayscale leads with a 2.5% fee for its spot Ether ETF, while introducing a new Ethereum Mini Trust at 0.25%. This Mini Trust will hold 10% of the spot Ether ETF, providing $1 billion in seed capital.

Other issuers offer competitive fees:

  • Franklin Templeton: 0.19%
  • Bitwise & VanEck: 0.20%
  • 21Shares: 0.21%
  • Fidelity & Invesco Galaxy: 0.25%

Many issuers also offer fee waivers to attract investors:

  • VanEck: 12 months or $1.5 billion in assets
  • Bitwise: 6 months or $0.5 billion
  • Franklin: Until January 31, 2025, or $10 billion
  • Fidelity: Until January 1, 2025

If approved, these spot Ether ETFs could be listed on Nasdaq, NYSE, and CBOE.
