Acting Comptroller of the Currency Michael J. Hsu warned his fellow regulators not to reduce their standards while dealing with cryptocurrency for fear of being viewed as “anti-innovation Luddites.” According to the OCC, it is vital to “learn and smartly adjust” to maintain the industry’s safety, integrity, and balance.
