Cameron Winklevoss With his twin brother Tyler co-founded the crypt exchange Gemini in 2014. Cameron has now resigned as a director of the company’s European business.

On October 12, a filing with Companies House revealed Winklevoss’ decision. This move comes at the same time as Gemini is registered as a virtual asset service provider (VASP) in the Republic of Ireland to offer cryptocurrency services there.

Gemini’s head of Ireland and Europe Gillian Lynch has been appointed to Gemini Europe’s board. The exchange also stated Blair Halliday, the exchange’s previous U.K. CEO, was leaving the board of directors
