Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried’s lawyers have argued that a motion by the Department of Justice to revoke his bail was based on a “thin” factual basis and would violate his right to free speech. Prosecutors requested the revocation after Bankman-Fried shared private diaries written by former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison with the New York Times.
