Israeli government seizure orders and blockchain analytics reports indicate that digital currency wallets linked to PIJ received up to $93 million worth of cryptocurrency between August 2021 and June this year. Similarly, wallets associated with Hamas received around $41 million in crypto over a similar period. These large sums have raised concerns over the use of cryptocurrencies to finance terrorist activities.
