This committee, part of the Global Markets Advisory Committee, advises the CFTC on international trade and regulation. Shaikh’s inclusion signifies Aptos’ growing market influence. The subcommittee also features leaders from BlackRock, Polygon Labs, and Uniswap Labs. Previously, Shaikh had emphasized L1 blockchain and Web3 projects with Meta Platforms. Aptos is known for its efficient transaction processing and has raised $400 million, with a valuation exceeding $4 billion.
