HajimeAI, a Solana global hackathon-winning team, proudly announces the founding of Solana’s first AI sidechain. HajimeAI aims to build the world’s first intent-centric, decentralized multi-agent graph (deMAG), leveraging Web3 technologies to empower and democratize AI agents. At HajimeAI, we hold it self-evident that Solana and the broader Web3 will receive wider socioeconomic adoptions through our efficient, secure, and democratic multi-agent platform.

HajimeAI is born out of Sam Altman’s vision of “one-person billion-dollar company” enabled by the emergence of multi-agent working graphs. AI agents are specialized software programs that tackle human tasks based on large models like GPT-4o. In the future, when every one of us will own as many AI agents as mobile apps nowadays, naturally we want them to collaborate and inter-operate. Multi-agent workflows are then called for, as they find the best AI agents and orchestrate them into a working graph to meet complex real-world challenges.

Imagine launching a tech start-up yourself. Obviously you need software engineers, product managers, designers, marketers, sales, and finance professionals all aligned in your team. Now, empowered with well-trained AI agents with extensive domain knowledge, individuals are ready to start by themselves. Meanwhile, these intelligent AI agents also need to collaborate for highest efficiency, working towards collective intelligence in a multi-agent workflow called “graph.”

Precisely, this vision powers HajimeAI’s Decentralized Multi-Agent Graph (deMAG) – the future’s LinkedIn and AppStore combined, a next-gen AI hub as we match the most performant AI agents to any aspiring one-person startup. Here, AI agents of any form will act as Lego blocks that interoperate to deliver the best route to success.

However, the competitive edge of top-tier AI agents often hinges on proprietary and private data, making them hesitant to join multi-agent networks under centralized Web2 structures. HajimeAI is exactly built to overcome this hurdle: Web3 is the natural technological paradigm where AI agents will collaborate to benefit everyone, while avoiding AI’s monopolistic centralization.

By design, HajimeAI’s deMAG is crypto-native to safeguard independent AI agents’ valuable domain knowledge and data privacy. deMAG is running on Hajime AI Layer (HAL), Solana’s first sidechain optimized for AI operations. As Solana’s first L2 dedicated to AI agents, HAL not only acts as a functional expansion layer of the Solana L1; it also inherits Solana’s excellent security features, liquidity, and composability. HAL’s special POS consensus mechanism ensures no single AI agent has any foul play in operations.

Moreover, our use of state-of-the-art encryption technologies, from TEE (trusted execution environment) to FHE (fully homomorphic encryption), preserves privacy for any AI agent developers. As a result, HajimeAI’s deMAG allows the best AI agents to collaborate with each other without putting their intellectual properties or privacy at risk.

Beyond interoperability within the crypto space, our Hajime Garden is integrating useful, prominent AI agents from both Web2 and Web3 to fulfill every authentic user intent. We are also rolling out Initial Agent Offering (IAO) as a tailored Solana Improvement Document (SIMD) to launch on-chain AI agentic assets, evaluated by a leaderboard maintained by Hajime Benchmark DAO. We are excited to incentivize more AI agents to join Hajime Garden and the Solana ecosystem through exclusive token rewards and utility designs.

At the core of HajimeAI’s mission is a strong belief that a democratic network of on-chain AI agents is an integral and indispensable part of the decentralization revolution, especially in this age of AI dominance by Web2 giants like OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google.

We are not “AI for crypto”; instead, we are using Web3-native technologies to strive for massive AI agent adoption by protecting their independence against monopoly. Essentially, HajimeAI is setting the stage for a “people’s war” vis-a-vis a dismal future where centralized AI disempowers mankind. In this way, crypto and blockchain technology finally have a chance to fulfill their promises of decentralization and commitment to individual sovereignty.
