EU customers: TradFi futures are now live on Kraken Pro
What’s new
TradFi futures on Kraken Pro lets eligible EU clients trade fixed-term contracts on major equity indices, commodities, and FX markets, using the same futures interface they already use for crypto.
That means you can go long or short on the S&P 500, react to a gold spike after a Fed announcement, or hedge your crypto exposure with an oil contract, all without opening a new account or learning a new platform.
Longer hours than traditional markets
Equity markets close at 4pm. Kraken doesn’t.
TradFi futures on Kraken follow the CME Group extended trading schedule: 23 hours a day, 5 days a week, from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon ET. That’s materially more time to act on macro events than a standard brokerage gives you and it sits right alongside crypto markets that run 24/7.

What you can trade
- Equity indices: Trade micro, mini, and standard contracts on the world’s most-watched benchmarks, including the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100.
